174km walking trail from Subiaco to New Norcia.
“When you walk the trail, you become the trail.” – Noongar Elder
The Pilgrim Trail, also known as The Salvado Trail, is a 174 km walking trail from Subiaco WA to the Benedictine Monastery town of New Norcia.
The journey was inspired by the memory of Dom Rosendo Salvado, the Benedictine monk who had founded the town of New Norcia in the 1847.
The creation of the Pilgrim Trail in Western Australia has been the result of the inspiration and personal effort from the members of the board of The Pilgrim Trail Foundation Limited (PTF), and others who have shared their vision, over the last 15 years.
